Today is Veterans Day, originally called Armistice Day, commemorating the signing of the agreement that ended World War I – 100 years ago at 11:00 A.M., November 11, 1918, this federal holiday was changed to Veterans Day in 1954. At that time, it became a day to honor all the men and women who are or who have served in the armed forces of the United States. Most say that it is different than Memorial day, which is a day to reflect and remember those who lost their lives in service to their country. I believe you should reflect and remember those who lost their lives in service to you everyday, especially veterans day.
